Yakubu Oseni, Beyond the Victory at The Primary Polls, The Task Ahead | By Otori Ozigi

Under this democratic dispensation, the name Yakubu Oseni surely rings a bell in the entire Kogi State and beyond. Here is one gentleman who has become a household name, indeed, Alhaji Oseni is an enigma of a sort, he is a phenomenon in the political circle. 

Since the death of Senator A.T. Ahmed of blessed memory, no Ebira man has been able to impact on the lives of the generality of the Ebira people like Yakubu Oseni. Like a thunderbolt, Yakubu Oseni took center stage in Ebira politics. He has been able, within a short period, to put his name on the lips in the entire Kogi State central and beyond. Indeed, he is the new Sheriff in town. His victory at the just concluded APC Senatorial primary in Kogi state is a success foretold.

The young man deserves the crown as the flag bearer of the greatest party in town (APC) because he worked hard for the top job, but beyond the euphoria generated by this victory lies a greater battle ahead, the race to the upper chamber is a marathon one. 

Indeed, primary election, as we all know, is just one leg of the battle ahead. It will be foolhardy for team Oseni and the cheering crowd to relax on their oars. Team Oseni will need to buckle up and do all that is required to come out the top of the race. 

Oseni had proven to be a dependable and reliable politician, a team player with humanity at the center of his words and actions. He is fully aware of the task ahead. It has become imperative at this juncture to commend his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for being a good leader and coach who desires to build a team of competent political players. 

Team Oseni has to do all that is required to defeat Team Ogembe and that of Natasha at the polls in 2019. There is no doubt in my mind that Team Oseni has all it takes to put their names on the political map of Kogi central. Team Oseni have started well, and if we keep the tempo there is no way team Natasha, and team Ogembe can defeat team Oseni. According to Political Pundits, Team Natasha and Team Ogembe are no match to Team Oseni. Comparing Team Oseni with Teams Natasha and Ogembe is tantamount to comparing the current Barcelona Team with that of Enyimba FC. That's quite an odd comparison. 

With Luck on our side, Yakubu Oseni is sure of victory at the forthcoming 2019 senatorial election. Good luck to Team Oseni and the entire Anebira.
