Facebook User Narrates Unprecedented Encounter with Khalifa Okene

As each day breaks, comes revelations about shocking philanthropic activities of Khalifa Abdulrahaman Okene, mostly behind public eyes. This time, a facebook user, Isah Habib has decided to share an 8-year old experience with the distinguished philanthropist as sent in to our inbox by King Chatta.

Isah Habib writes:

Have been searching, yet to find word(s) to qualify or quantify the person of Distinguished Khalifa Okene. I could still remember sometime around May 2011, I paid him a visit in his office at Utako - Abuja, I visited him on a ground to secure a place for me where I could do my one year industrial attachment. On getting to his office, I met about 20 to 25 people waiting for him, after few minutes He asked his Secretary to call me in. He gave me a letter addressed to the then Minister of FCT and as God would have it, I was able to have my industrial attachment done successfully in the Ministry of Urban and Regional Planning. 

Let me not forget the most amazing philanthropical gesture of this man on that day which set my eyes oozing in tears as I couldn't hold my self. After giving me the letter addressed to the Minister, he asked me to join the people outside and wait for him. We waited like 10minutes when he finally come out of the office and said, my people please, presently I'm cashed trapped, am hoping on something but presently I can't guarantee anyone of you guyz. Pls I want you guyz to choose among yourself who will lead. I have a wrist watch here which you guyz can dispose and use the cash to settle your immediate needs. So I want you guyz to choose among yourselves who I will handle over the wrist watch to.

 To our greatest surprise, Distinguished Khalifa Okene removed his wrist watch and gave it to us, all of us was somehow skeptical and speechless. He said go and sell the wrist watch. I can't have such thing while you guyz have nothing to take care of your immediate needs. We refused to accept it  but he pleaded and persuaded us to. Hmmm...  I did not really know that the wrist watch worth 1.4million naira as at then till we got to Wuse Market where we sold the watch and shared the money evenly among ourselves. To me I don't see Khalifa as human but angel in human form. King Chatta I know you are very close to him. Tell him He will become number One Citizen of our great country. God must use him to save Nigeria at large and Kogi State in particular from shackle of impending doom. 

As I write this message to you now. Am crying again, why would unprogressive minds never allow good things to surface in our land. Is our land truly cursed?. Oh God let your utmost will be done. May Allah place every guard and guiding angels around our Distinguished Khalifa Okene. Amin.
